Team Minecraft or Team Terraria?

These are two absolute titans in the gaming world and are often compared to one another and even called brothers at times. Both are obviously phenomenal games, but I'm curious to see which one you guys prefer more over the other!

If you choose Team Minecraft, please specify why you prefer it over Terraria and some things Minecraft does better than Terraria.
If you choose Team Terraria, please specify why you prefer it over Minecraft and some things Terraria does better than Minecraft.

We don't have a Terraria community here at eGO, so the results of this might be a bit skewed, but I'm curious to see if there are any Sigma male grindset Alpha chad Terraria players lurking...

I respect Terraria and its players, but Minecraft is just better overall to me. It simply offers a larger variety of things to do.

I despise side scrollers. Plus, the graphics do it for me. I don't like pixely games. Honestly, I have a ton of friends that love Terraria and I respect that but it seems that everything I am looking for in a game, Terraria has the opposite so I couldn't play it.

No matter what, Minecraft takes the top of the cake for me! I have tried Terraria and I'd say there's a bunch of factors which definitely makes the game fun, but I've grown up with Minecraft ever since I was a lil kid, so no matter what It's already built in that I love the game. To the music and to the simplistic vibe of Minecraft, once again takes the top of the cake for me!

I love both of the games. What you want from a sandbox game simply depends on your preferences. Minecraft is a fantastic option if you want a game with lots of freedom and variation. Terraria is a wonderful option if you are looking for a game with a solid battle system and difficult bosses.

ive played terraria since launch, but as time wears on it generally gets more difficult and gimmicky when it comes to the boss fights. while it has far better aesthetic options than minecraft when it comes to building, minecraft is just more relaxing and enjoyable.
