Opinions on the Vaccinator?

I personally think it's a bit too good. Maybe if it were reworked so that the charges gave players an offensive buff instead of a defensive buff, it would be more balanced. I certainly am not the first person to come up with this idea. I think it was b4nny who first came up with it. I think it's a pretty solid way of balancing the vaccinator while also encouraging people to get more involved in their games. It could be like the Kritzkrieg's little son. Maybe the four charges would give whoever is being healed mini crits for about two seconds? I'm not a developer, so I'm not sure if this would make the Vaccinator more balanced or less balanced, but I'm curious to hear what you all have to say about it.

Like any of the mediguns, I think it's really situational. The thing can be defeated pretty easily if you overwhelm them with multiple types of enemies, so I mean it can be annoying to fight, but like anything there is a counter to it, just requires your team to work together. (I know, I am speaking crazy languages, this "Teamwork" word. what a crazy concept).

I personally don't mind it, just like anything I just roll with the punches. Them's the breaks.

Sometimes I hate it, some times I enjoy it. Just really depends on the situation.

I think I should clarify. I believe it's a bit too good in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing. I have kept entire teams of twelve alive against competent enemy players simply because of how broken this weapon is when used correctly. If your teammates are also very competent and have fantastic DM and movement skills, then using this becomes all the more deadly. Nutty! :O

ITS SOOOO WEEIIRDDD
But:
The best target to pocket is a pyro. Most players who know about the vaccinator will go up to melee you, and pyro can deal with them easily. You don't need to use the fire resistance because the pyro already has that, nor the explosives resistance most of the time because of airblast. You only need to worry about bullet and the resistances you use to protect yourself, which you won't need to worry about if you stay a safe distance from flames and the pyro protects you from explosives.

It is really powerful. But I love it. It gives me a lot more to do as medic, I like the engagement it adds to the class.

I absolutely despise it. When you go up against a very competent vax medic, especially if their pocket is a very competent pyro (Saber and Rose, goddammit), your chances of victory are basically zero. As a roamer and sniper main, this is absolute pain.
