How about the NBA 2k23

I wanted to try NBA 2k23 because some friends recommended it, but I'm not good at playing games. So how is this game?

I've tried previous NBA games, up to NBA 2K17 all the way to the 20th. and let me tell you it's not the greatest or worst. I enjoy it as a basketball fan and love doing combos for a cool trick in the game! Price wise i think NBA 2K23 is SO overpriced for what it is. If you only like the mechanics and enjoy the NBA feel and don't care about teams too much. you can always go for the cheaper alternative which is 2K17 - 2K18 etc.
