Counter-Strike Not Planned Add a CSGO casual/competitive server

I noticed MSWS suggested this in July of 2021 in this thread here. I would really like to see eGO server(s) that are casual or competitive type play. Even a deathmatch server I could see myself being active in, but me personally I just don't find the jailbreak, TTT, bhop, and surf servers enjoyable. I'm not saying those servers aren't populated at all because most of them are, but I know I personally would be a lot more active in something more classic on maps like Dust, Inferno, Nuke, Train, and others.

I feel where you're coming from. I wouldn't mind trying out a casual or competitive server, or possibly deathmatch, but I also know these types of servers don't typically go over well in CS:GO. That said, I'd support and play on it if it happened.

I see how there could be some positives to an eGO "vanilla" server (meaning casual/comp), given we bring moderation and a catered exp to the table, however I think CS has a lot of servers, some of which could use some more players. Dont think right now eGO should be provisioning more for CS.

I personally don't vibe with comp/casual any more, so idk, I just don't think the potential benefits here are enough to put resources into making that kind of thing happen. But thatS just my opinion, eGO and CS Leadership will do as they see fit.

I'd love a 1v1 arena server. Pretty sure those have high population normally, just don't know if it fits with eGO

If I'm not mistaken, we had a 1v1 for a while but it was shut down due to little/no players and support. I could very well be thinking of another community though. I'd be in favor of a 1v1 server otherwise.

I've looked around old posts a bit and can only find people asking for the 1v1 server even in 2020 (furthest I went back) can't find anything on an existing one or people talking about it on one of the other suggestion posts. So I'm guessing it was another community? I could be wrong tho

I definitely understand where you're coming from about possibly wasting resources, but as of right now the eGO CSGO community doesn't have any servers like that. If I want to go play competitive or casual I will, but that doesn't benefit me trying to be apart of this community.

We definitely have not. And I'd more readily support that. Would've been the best thing to do, too.

I like the idea…but it’s also worth mentioning that both of our CSS servers (yes ik the game is kinda different and not free) are more casual and classic(vanilla) than our GO servers so if you have that resource, an eGO fix for casual may be found on our Rotation or Dust2 servers
