We receive many applications each month from people wanting to join EdgeGamers. Numbers are fun to see, so at the end of each month, we will post the application statistics. This will help you see our flow of incoming members each month.
April did, in fact, trend upward in numbers! We surpassed 100 total applications and had about 65% of those accepted. We also had a handful of recruiters this month. Let's see what direction May takes us!
Special thanks to XxHeartlessxX
for her contributions to helping me keep track of all this data! Combined with your feedback on the stats, you've been a great help.
Although the numbers dwindled slightly from last month, it was still a good month with 85 total applications. Although CS brought in the most as usual, GTA almost doubled their numbers from April and that's great to see!
Congratulations to @Galactic Grass on being our newest Recruiter of the Month! Your efforts, along with every other recruiter, are helping the community grow. Thank you all for your continued help with that!
We had a great month overall despite the numbers being slightly down from May. We can chalk that up to people enjoying the first month of their Summer vacation from school. Maybe eGO's birthday month will see more accepted applicants into the community!
Thank you to all the recruiters as well for referring people to join the community! Keep up the great work!
July saw an uptick in applications, seeing the most in total since April. The above-average temperatures probably helped us see these higher numbers. Unfortunately, about 25% of the applicants did not complete all the steps to be accepted, but overall it was still a great month.
We also saw an increase in the number of people recruiting new members to the community. Huge thanks to everyone putting forth that effort. This is a great way to help grow the community and keep us alive for years to come. If you enjoy recruiting and introducing people to EdgeGamers, consider applying for Community Outreach to get more involved!
Numbers are down a bit from July, but we can chalk that up to school starting back in the US and people focusing on that, which is completely understandable. We hope to see a bit more of an increase in September as people start to get settled in.
Even though application numbers were lower, we saw more recruiters this month! Special thanks to everyone who encourages people to join the community as it helps more than you know.
We'll see you next month for September's stats. Stay cool!
September was an exceptionally slow month for recruitment numbers. As many of our recruits come from Counter-Strike, it's safe to say the release of Counter-Strike 2 contributed to the significant drop. When community servers are fully functional for CS2, we hope to see our numbers return to normal.
With the announcement of BattleBit joining our list of supported games in late September, it was great to see our first recruit come from the newly added game. Hopefully, we will see plenty more to come as well.
We'll see you at the end of October for the next round of spooky stats!
Counter-Strike has been the primary source of new members for quite some time. As we do not currently have CS2 servers available (they are coming soon), the number of new faces joining the community has drastically dropped, even more so than last month. For the first time, GTA saw the most newly accepted applications!
Hopefully, in terms of application and recruitment statistics, things will turn around for the better soon. We still appreciate everyone who put forth the effort to recommend us to new players! Please continue to do so, as it is a great free way to support EdgeGamers.
We continue to see a deficit in newcomers joining the community. With our first CS2 server releasing, and more to follow, we hope to see an influx of members again as we head into the new year.
If you have any friends you think would mesh well with the community, please encourage them to sign up and join us! We are always looking for new faces to join us in our collective gaming journey. With that said, we continue to thank those of you who put in the effort to do just that and refer new people to join EdgeGamers!
As the year came to an end, we saw a dip in numbers as people were likely taking some time away from their computers to be with their families for the holidays. We still welcomed a handful of newcomers to the community, which we love to see! We hope you all had a good holiday season.
With that said, let's jump straight into January's statistics.
As we entered the new year, applications picked up slightly, seeing almost double the number of applications from December. With our CS2 servers slowly becoming more fleshed out and FiveM continuing to stay steady, along with our other games seeing some exciting updates and changes, we hope these numbers continue to increase as we love to see new members joining and getting involved with EdgeGamers!
That said, you're all caught up with the latest application stats! We'll see you in a few days for February's numbers.
Unfortunately, we saw a few members join us in the month of love, but we will continue to power forward. With various things being worked on behind the scenes, we hope these will entice new faces to join EdgeGamers. That said, we'll see you in a month for the next round of stats!
Things looked great in terms of welcoming new members in March! We saw nearly triple the applications from the previous month, which was definitely aided by the success of CS2 Jailbreak and a couple of faces from TF2. As CS2 continues to add more servers down the line, and with exciting plans ahead this year for EdgeGamers, we can't wait to see what the numbers look like in the coming months.
April treated us well considering our shift in supported games during the month. The success of Jailbreak helped bring in a handful of new faces to the community, but we cannot go without recognizing Elbow Removal Service
for his recruitment efforts as he brought in all 4 of our new TF2 members in April. Thank you, and of course, all of our other recruiters, for your efforts to help the community continue to grow!
