If anyone is a first responder or extended first responder and looking for a new phone / new carrier I'd suggest looking into FirstNet on AT&T.
Currently they're running a couple good promotions $250 Port-In Credits, One month service free, and a free Apple Watch SE. These run along side all of your regular consumer promotions such as $800 trade-in towards Samsung, Google, and iPhones.

Another nice aspect of the FirstNet account is that you can combine normal AT&T wireless service with it and get an automatic 25% off of the consumer lines, this is called FirstNet and Family. All accounts will be FirstNet and Family from the start so you wont have to do any extra work.

- Apple Watch SE requires it be financed and put on the plan as well (-$9.17/mo for 36mo)
- The $800 iPhone trade in requires iPhone 11+ in good condition (no cracks/major scratches and able to be reset) or iPhone 12 Pro Max cracked or an estimated Trade in value of $130 (can be checked here)(-$22.22/mo for 36mo)
