help with Custom skins

hey lock here, i just got some pretty hot skins and everything works, cept the characters....

so heres the path...
from Materials -> Models -> players -> Scout -> scout_blue, scout_red

and for weapons... does it matter if itz called w_scattergun or v_scattergun?

plz help me out here!

Hello,Well wheres my way,download the file then open your file you downloaded copy alll the files(not the readme)then paste it to your desktop copy the files again in your desktop then right click one of the skin files then your see (add to desktop)click that then open the desktop file in your desktop click extract to then extract to the TF2 folder like this C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\STEAMNAME\team fortress 2\tf thanks i can help

In terms of weapons: w_scattergun and v_scattergun are two different skins. For the full effect you need to have both of them installed. v_scattergun stands for view, which changes the skin as you view it in first person perspective. w_scattergun stands for world, which changes the scattergun in third person (i.e. it'll still have the skin when you see it on the ground, when other players hold it, and when you taunt.)
