Both of those themes from Omori are beautiful. Haven't played the game though
I love this question; there are so many iconic video game OSTs out there! Man, just too many awesome soundtracks to begin listing. A lot of video game themes slap to this day, even if the game itself is mid.
A good example; the theme that would play during The Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 6! The game was arguably mediocre (for a number of reasons, gameplay and story were both decent in their own right but didn't really mesh well? Pacing in the writing was off, things just didn't feel right, as far as a Resident Evil title goes)
BUT this theme still slaps. Perfect for HIIT (high intensity interval) training! The sprinting animations and the breaking of the 'bonus time' crystals always went great with this particular OST lol

One of the more iconic ones. The composers they select for their games and movies are extremely talented individuals and I would love to see a performance live one day. I know there's renditions from different orchestras based on Final Fantasy, but I would love to hear the original composer perform live.

I also want to add I really like how it has a deep sombre undertone, then the violin which revives the whole piece and creates a lovely new layer of emotion. In terms of with the game, I don't like the placement too much, I think it should've been placed a little later into the main story. Once the drums come in it feels too out of place for where you are which is the main reason why I feel this way. Ignoring the actual placement of the song within the game, its a definite 9/10. -1 for the vocals which don't really fit well.
