Coast Guard, though you guys probably don't consider that to be service, huh?

Still, if you get lost in the waters of the US, it'll most likely be a member of the shallow water navy that pulls you out. ;)

It is funny that you bring this back up. We are currently in the midst of getting everything ready to go, and get the ribbon out to all of our vets. The list is compiled, now its just the drawn out process of adding the award to each and every profile individually. Sit tight, and you will all have it very soon.
 
That award has been redesigned and has only been seen by 2 people...but it is coming, I am just waiting for Dominion to start a award merging process which is going to be a headache but it is doable.


All the awards are completed just hang in there. B)

Drafted 1969,Basic Frt Dix,AIT Frt Leonard Wood Combat Engineer School 12A10. Nam 1970 11 months 17 days !0 hours. Ended up in Hq company as a truck master 64C30 3/4 of the time. Finished out time in Europe. Home summer of 1971.
 
Scouts Out!

US Army 19D Enlisted (Cavalry Scout 1986-1989) - French Commando - Stationed entirely in Germany except for TDY (France) for training. Did time on the East / West German border during the cold war. 3ID 1/7th Infantry Scout Platoon.
 
Its a great thing to be recognized, but the real pleasure is in the service itself, more young men and women should think about service, after all, its your country and it just feels good. ;)
