Hey all!

I realized that many of our players don't know what our events are and sometimes don't like asking the group as a whole. This is the start of a series of posts listing the majority of our events and the rules that they use. It will take me a bit to get them all done but I will start with our newest event. Feel free to let me know if you want a specific event or if I miss something important on an event.

Zombie Infection (beta)

Our newest event.
Start as a united front against the zombies, except 1/6 of you have been infected and turn into
bug infested, glowing footsteps, zombies.
Zombies are limited to melee but each has a set of special abilities shown below.
Survive until the timer runs out as RED or infect the whole server as BLU.

TF2 Payload night copy.jpg

Payload Night
Payload is a common event where BLU is tasked with pushing a cart with a giant bomb in it to its destination while RED is tasked with stopping them until time runs out. There are various checkpoints along the way and spawns move in relation to these checkpoints. The cart heals the BLU team and RED can stop it by standing against it. Occasionally the bomb blows up on completion, but don't worry about it.
Please avoid spawn camping on both sides.

Variations:
Payload Race: Both teams race to reach the end pushing their payload, the tracks are always crossing and must stop the other team from doing the same.
Halloween Payload Race: Similar to above but don't touch the front of the cart, instead of explosives it's a giant sawblade. It's a bit painful.

BlackMesa Sunday
Our weekly Blackmesa Event runs every Sunday night. It is a chaotic 5 CP map with 2 similar but quite distinct versions. The map creator Dragonhill often shows up to join in the chaos. Point A the midpoint is a Sniper and Scout playground while the amount of engie spots around the map is innumerable. A good balance of all classes is needed to win this challenging map. Please avoid spawn camping (until final points).
Make sure to feed Steve at least once during the event.

Beta Map:
This map has 4 main differences from the Final version.
1. Instead of gravity vents that bring you to points L and C there are moving ramps you can run up (or down) Great for building on as engineer or getting back down to point A.
2. Point A is now in a building that houses a rocket test. Be warned it can be trigger and the blast doors will shut while you become BBQ.
3. In this version point A is the slowest to cap with speeds reducing as you move toward the final point.
4. Spawn has 2 exits and 2 wall mounted resupplies.

Final or Classic:
Reversing the list above:
1. Gravity vents lower to get you from A to points L and C. These only become available when they are the vulnerable points.
2. Point A is WIDE open, snipers live to shoot you here. Also, Steve has a twin (also named Steve) that circles to mirrored elevators that can save you from the acid water.
3. Point A is a fast cap, with the points getting harder to cap as you move toward B and K
4. Spawn has a single main exit with a couple of drop downs from the ceiling into the hall of spawn.

Toy Fort Tuesday
(Rat Maps)

TF2 meets Toy Story!
The mercs have been shrunk down to the size of toys and are now fighting to control the house. Maps vary from capture point to payload with fun silly themes. Often a casual event with grappling hooks enabled. Most are fairly balanced and require a team effort to really make progress.
