Love this idea, gonna tack on, I'd like to see ability to set up recurring items. An example, TF2 does the same event every week. Bet they'd love to set one event and a frequency and be done with it. Battlebit hosts a get together once a week at least, I know it'd save us a lot of grief if that was an option

A quick workaround could be to create a sharable Google calendar to which people can subscribe to, which easily integrates with a Calendar app.
