New Update won't show menu

I haven't seen this problem yet on the forums, but since the new DOD update, whenever it loads up it does not show the menu on the left hand side. It just loads the background but not the menu and the song doesn't even play. I have a decent comp,

Windows XP
2 gigs Ram
GeForce 7600gt
Pentium 4 2.8

Any suggestions?
