With new players constantly coming in, more and more rule breaking is happening. We have a great selection of staff that are working hard on keeping the server in one piece, but sometimes it can be overbearing to keep track of all the inquiries. I suggest we make a discord channel dedicated to uploading clips of wrong doing on our server (with specific restrictions). If no admins are on during a mfk, players are supposed to upload their clips to the forums. If you ask me and many others, this is an outdated solution to an urgent problem. To make such report takes somewhere around 15 minutes with clipping, uploading, sharing to a public link, and writing a statement. this 15 minute barrier no matter how small that may seem really discourages players from wanting to speak up when wrong doing occurs. On the other hand, uploading to discord would be much more convenient for players and admins alike. Applebees posted a few clips to discord and from those clips, i was able to instantly know the problem and act rapidly! Had he not shared these clips, i would then be force to go to spectator and watch this one player until he does it again. This takes up an incredible amount of time for me while I'm on the server. This would be a great way to make the community feel like they want to be heard aswell. If there is anyway i can help to make this concept a reality just let me know!

yeah so i see your point and all, but if their is no admins on the server and when they ask in discord we are usually fast while we tell them to clip it and make a player report or send it to the banning admin...

unless there is something im missing in here, but people should make a forum account and make a player report if the same person have been rule breaking, thats really the go to for it

I understand your idea, but I’m disagreeing with it. Our player reports serve as a documentation.

im pretty sure discord chat keep logs. and im not even saying for major offenses. im thinking of more so a place for people to post proof for admins to work with. if you ask me, it could do nothing but help (and it proved to be useful to me)

I must not understand what the suggestion is anymore, haha.

Admins play first, admin second. They don't handle ban requests, etc. Admins handle what's in present time, in front of them as they play video games. Player reports are typically after-the-fact scenarios that are handled by Leadership.

ie; Someone violated policy, but no admins were on at 2am. They make a player report for Leadership to review.

He wants a player-report channel on discord so all admins can see it. Although it should just be for minor offenses ex) ban-evasion, mfk, etc

huh, well its not needed really since all documentation is in player reports here on the forums, where all reports should be taken to if there is no admins, we can't exactly just go off someones elses video clips...

I absolutely think we need this! We use player clips on regular player report all of the time! You saying it’s not needed tells me there is a lack of understanding what is going on in our servers right now. I’m not saying it should take over for the forums. I think it can be a great tool for players to quickly send evidence for claims in game at that time. We have a ton of offense going on all the time lately. I wish management was more aware of the situation you guys have us in right now. I understand “play first, admin second” but it seems like most just “play first” and ignore the second part. That leaves the work to fall on those who are on consistently and who actually care about handling the problem. We’re not trying to get rid of the system you have in place, I just want a way for players to dm us footage so we can sit back in our chairs once in a while and actually play the game while also tending to the community.
