CS:S Dust2 events?

Any events in the pipeline for the CS: Source community? I proposed a 5v5 scrim type of event in my inner crowd recently and it was well received, but its hard to coordinate and get confirmation of participation, but maybe we could start slow. I saw a recent event on CS:2 where it was a 5v5 scrim, with members and below vs eGO and above teams, that could be interesting for Dust2, any thoughts?

I would actually enjoy that, a lot of people that I play with have also agreed to a scrim. Or even minigames during the rounds like a deag only, or headshot only, etc.

I'll be totally on-board for a CSS event or two! I've seen quite a few souls missing surf and I recall it working far better there so nyaaa~

I'm not sure what's possible entirely for CS:S, but I know Zombie Escape and maybe even Deathrun should be possible. Both can be pretty fun to play as well.

Well first of all, we'd need an event server, and I'm not sure if that's something we can get. Maybe Cascsiany can weigh in first.

Jail on CS:S would be sweet, especially now that I've been able to locate a good chunk of CS:S jail maps,

although not every single one that eGO used to have in rotation. That would take some sorting, unless someone has them stored away somewhere and they happen to see this post

I think all of the ideas suggested above are good ones. Scoutzknives with low gravity is another that comes to mind

I second the idea for a need for map rotation or events. The CS Source community has shrank to the point where ours is one of the few non gun game/ non bot filled servers left.

We don't have to just be 24/7 dust 2 anymore. Moving away from that might make it more popular, even if its like, every other map is dust 2
