The live action movie was announce to be in development in 2023 by Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad. The director being Wes Ball who has directed Planet of the Apes and the famous Maze Runner. Nintendo has partnered up with Sony Pictures to pay for and distribute the film. The release date is still unknown, however research online did say "202*" so hopefully within this decade we will see the first live action version of our beloved series.
Though there is rumor that this is based on Tears of the Kingdom, others are saying the entire series itself.

Hunter Schafer - Zelda
Thomas Brodie-Sangster -Link
Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson - Ganondorf or Goron
Dave Bautista - Ganondorf or Goron
David Harbour - The King of Hyrule
Jamie Lee Curtis - Impa
Jason Momoa - Zora
Emma Myers - Malon or even Sarah if OOT is referenced.
Just for laughs if Tingle did get his chance to be in a movie.
