I just saw this post when doing my yearly checkup and I had to comment.

For the TF2 division I think it would be nice if we adopted something similar to TF2maps. Focusing primarily on testing or playing custom maps which are not included in the matchmaking.

I know there is a market for this as TF2 maps daily testing events are packed with people using fighting for slots because there is little to no other server that offers custom maps in a high quality environment.

Just something to consider. I would be interested in helping with something like this if we wanted to do this :)

Not familiar with this scene but from the way you present it, that makes a ton of sense. if we could rebuild some TF2 interest that way, maybe DrkChocolate DrkChocolate and Jeff7890110 Jeff7890110 will come home with the milk
 
This saddens me to see, however personally I feel the golden age of TF2 in this community was long since dead.

The memories will live on in the minds of all that were part of this community over the years, myself included.

RIP eGO TF2.
 
Had to log into my account for once and actually say something--

Thank you all for the good memories and fun times. It's been a nice ride. I was always on and off this community, usually because of life. But it was always a nice place to flock back to when it was the right time.

I come on once in a while to check in but I found out about the division maybe about a month or 2 ago when I came looking for Black Mesa Sunday.

I gotta say Thank You to DrkChocolate DrkChocolate and her team for keeping things going for so long and always making everyone feel welcomed especially after the last few teams of my day that contributed immensely as well. I'll also never forget the privilege either of hosting some events on here almost 10yrs ago now (wow time flies) Thank you for the memories!
 
TF2 has always been a game I enjoy playing. Sad to see it retired here in the community but it happens. I for sure think with the right leadership though it could be revived. We had some great leadership before with the Black Mesa Sundays and other events they held too.
 
I went to show the eGO tf2 servers to a friend today and was saddened to find they're no longer running.

I miss you all and am so thankful for the times we had together; If there is a push to bring the servers back, I am always willing to help out when I can, even if it's just to fill servers.
