A little bit about me: I originally joined EdgeGamers in 2011 under the Counter-Strike division. I swapped to the MC division around 2013 until I swapped to TF2 in 2015. In TF2 I became an EC Advisor (present day Manager rank) for 3 months until

GardenGroveVW kidnapped me and I joined Tech. As Tech, I helped put on some of the biggest events in the community's including one of my personal favorites: A Knight of Demomen. More recently I've been an at-large Tech leadership/CM member. After some recent events I decided that I wanted to return and try and take a hands-on approach. So while I know some of you may not know me, you should start to see me pretty frequently on the servers. My goal is to return CS to it's former glory and empower the leadership team to make quick and effective decisions without feeling like they need a rubber stamp.

Oh, I have a question!!

If every event in the universe is the result of prior causes (whether deterministic or probabilistic), and human consciousness arises from physical processes in the brain that follow these same principles, then to what extent can we claim to have free will? If free will is an illusion, what implications does that have for morality, justice, personal responsibility, and the meaning of human existence? Conversely, if free will does exist, how can it be reconciled with the apparent causality of the physical universe?
