Sniper Exploit on 2nd Goldrush map?

I was on the blue team on the 2nd Goldrush map and I saw 2 other snipers on my team able to shoot some people on the red team and score some heatshots with a sniper before the gate opened and before the match started. How is the world is this possible? Is this even allowed? Its a pretty dirty tactic if you asked me.

Just play the game how its supposed to be played and everyone will have fun. It is shocking to see people able to do this though.

No, this is not allowed. Players are warned globally once, then they are dealt with.

It is not allowed and the admins will deal with it. What I can't understand is why Valve hasn't fixed this one yet. Its been around since the release.

And this is not a Goldrush specific glitch. It can be done on any map with gates.

WOw snipers cant hit through the gates now as well. i thought this issue was just with pryo. Thanks for the info fox.

Any class can shoot through the gates Dieinpeace, pyro just requires less accuracy since they can just paint the whole gate with their flames.
