Official eGO CS Jailbreak JB Rules Update: Influencing RTV

The Counter-Strike Leadership team has decided to revisit our stance on influencing RTV in Jailbreak. After deliberation, we have updated the rule to the following:

Do not attempt to influence RTV through gameplay mechanisms (e.g. warden commands), manipulation, or other such disruptive behaviour.

Put simply, this means that influencing RTV is now allowed, provided that it is not disruptive. The exact interpretations of what actions are considered disruptive will be at the discretion of admins on the server, however examples include:

• Any actions that affect gameplay, such as:
  • issuing a command as a warden to RTV
  • granting perks or detriments based on RTV state
  • delaying the round for the purposes of affecting RTV
• Attempting to trick, manipulate, or bait players into RTVing.
• Harassing other players into RTVing.
• Spamming chat, or voice chat regarding RTV.

An example of a reasonable message is sending the following once: "This map isn't that fun with this many people on, we should RTV".
