2025 Summer Surf/JB Mapping Contest
The time has come for the first CS2 Surf and Jailbreak Mapping Competition sponsored by Edge Gamers Organization! Many communities have come together to setup and assist with this contest, a huge thank you to PlayPark, YappersHQ, Flowstate Surf, Hang10, and the many other communities and players that have banded together to make this contest a reality.
Mapmakers have until September 20th 2025 11:59pm CST (4:59am UTC) to submit a map creation. Map submission link will be released in the upcoming weeks. We want to give everyone enough time to get learn the new engine and polish their maps. Starting prize pool is $250 for both the Surf contest and Jailbreak contest. Donations will be opened in the following weeks as well. All donations to this mapping contest will go back to the mapmakers. There will be a separate prize pool for the Surf Contest and the Jailbreak Contest. Donors can choose which contest they are donating towards.
Payout:
1st Place: 60% of the prize pool
2nd Place: 30% of the prize pool
3rd Place: 10% of the prize pool
*The donation and payout structure will not change, but additional prizes may be available down the road.
Judging:
Judging criteria is listed in the contest rules. We have a mix of judges from various communities, for both of the game modes. A public vote will open up after the submission deadline so that all players can have a say in the voting process.
