Battlefield 6 Thoughts?

Wanted to gather thoughts on the new Battlefield 6 Trailer. BF holds near to my heart, especially when it comes to EGO as it is what brought me here in 2014 while I was playing Battlefield 4. The trailer looks dope, and the leaked gameplay from BF Labs suggests that this is going back to the core BF "gritty" gameplay. Multiplayer reveal is next Thursday, July 31, so I'm excited to see what that brings and maybe they will bring back community servers, which StoneMountain mentioned in a video over the last couple of days.

I did the DoD, BF1942, CoD, back to DoD route. Then started back on CoD:BO III and have stayed with CoD Since. I did BF: 1 and skipped the rest. HM to BF: Heroes! ONE of the best games evar! Hup! Hup! Hup!

Looking forward to BF:6, but not going to Pre-Purchase.

Is anyone doing the Open BETA this and next weekend? Would love to hear some feedback as there is definitely some BUZZ! I heard there were 9000 players sitting in the Lobby and just chatting and messing with settings!

I'll be playing the Open Beta this weekend for sure. And I saw something that said that number went up into the tens of thousands too. Hopefully EA/DICE and all the studios do this game justice and they will meet their goals of 100 million players while making BANK.

I am gonna be playing non-stop over the Beta weekends. I got an Early Access key and have played maybe 4 hours. So far, I am really impressed. They have mostly fixed the bad decisions made in 2042.

Same here. Movement-wise, I would say it's a hybrid of the BF4 movement and the "COD" movement everyone talks about. It appears there are some unintentional ways to be more dynamic, such as flying 30 feet when you jump, which is likely going to be fixed before full release. Personally, I have no issues with the current state of the movement other than that.

just a few more days and it'll be out. i've always been a big fan of BF, 2042 killed it for me but so ready to get down with BF6. I was selected for pre alpha so i got a taste and of course with the beta i can't hype the game up enough.

The beta was good fun, I think I finished at level 18.
I pre-ordered, because it's already 1000x better than CoD, and I'm burnt out on CS2.

Amazing game, been thoroughly enjoying it. And to think the content has only begun. I am also glad they cut that stupid XP gaining off of the portal servers to prevent XP farming.

i do agree completely however the only downfall with it which I've noticed so far is that it affects verified servers for instance the servers that i created that were just changed to hardcore instead of core you don't gain any XP. hoping maybe it's a glitch or that it'll be fixed because we obviously want people to gain XP while playing on the community created servers.
