The beta unfortunately left a really sour taste for m... I'm sure this will be a great battlefield game for some, but it's honestly not what I'm looking for. Coupled with EA's unrealistic hopes for the game to have 100 million players[1], I honestly expect this game to get dropped by EA development early on... I don't expect it to ever shape into the type of BF game I would want. I might be overly pessimistic, but they've given no reasons to be hopeful... Sad days for AAA games these past few years. I doubt it will ever change.. At least Indie and AA games have really been seeing some great entries.
[1] Which COD has only ever hit (and that's only if you count all players across all their games and platforms at the given time, not just one title).
