Hey gamers,

I've been playing this early Faction realease and I was thinking about a new way to structure this Minecraft season to make things more interesting.

This format would turn the server into a 3-week cycle that balances building and strategy with all-out PvP combat.

How it would work

Phase 1: Preparation (Weeks 1 and 2)

For the first two weeks, the server would have no PvP enabled. This is the time for every faction to focus on building up their strength. You could spend this time:

  • Recruiting new members
  • Gathering resources and farming for the best gear
  • Constructing bases and defenses
  • Setting traps and getting your strategy ready

To keep things exciting during this phase, we could have community-wide events like resource bonus for certain random hours or other challenges that encourage everyone to stay active like the server currently has with Koths.

Phase 2: The war week (Week 3)

This is where the action begins. In the final week, PvP would be activated. Everything you've worked on for the past two weeks would be put to the test. This phase would be all about:

  • Raiding enemy bases
  • Engaging in faction wars
  • Climbing the leaderboards for kills, raids, and overall faction dominance

Season inale: the champions

At the end of the third week, we would crown the top faction based on the leaderboards. The champions would get some rewards, like:

  • Gift cards
  • Permanent perks or donor ranks
  • Unique cosmetic titles, like "Season 1 Champions"
  • A permanent spot in a Hall of Fame on our Discord server

Wipe & restart

After the champions are crowned, the server would reset, and a new 3-week cycle would begin. This would give everyone a fresh start and another shot at climbing to the top.

Why

I think this structure would make each season feel more purposeful. It gives everyone a dedicated time to prepare without the pressure of constant raids, and then it culminates in a final week of non-stop action. It would also make the season finale feel like a bigger, more important event.
