Executive Update
We’re pleased to announce an important leadership update within the team.
After continued dedication, proven leadership, and a strong impact across multiple areas of the community, @Oblixion has been appointed to the role of Executive. This transition reflects both his ongoing commitment to EdgeGamers and the trust placed in him to help guide the our communities long-term direction.
In his new role, Oblixion will take on broader responsibilities, working alongside Don and Adam to support the growth, stability, and continued evolution of the community. Along with overseeing and supporting the wider Community Management team, ensuring divisions continue to operate smoothly and efficiently.
Since joining EdgeGamers in 2019, Oblixion has been a steadfast member of the community, specifically in and around GTA. He rose to a leadership position in December of 2019 and continued excelling from there. Less than a year later he was brought up as a Senior Manager. With his technical expertise surrounding the ever growing and evolving FiveM server, he cemented himself as a vital member of the GTA team. Jump ahead to October of 2021; he was promoted to Community Manager overseeing the entirety of the GTA division, much later spearheading the development of ClearRP 2.0 investing countless hours and late nights to deliver a completely fresh version of our FiveM server. The revival of ClearRP in 2025 simply would not of been possible without him.
If any of you have had the pleasure of knowing Oblixion for a while, you will understand why he was awarded the ProCombat Lifetime Allegiance award earlier this year, an award not given lightly and held by only a few within EdgeGamers. We hope you all join us in congratulating him on his move to the executive team and we cannot wait to see what else he can bring to the community!
