Ready Or Not

tried it, refunded it. not my thing for my group of gamers. we shoot each other too much.
if you got the friends for it, maybe a fair bit of fun but I never felt the aspect of the game that would ever make me come back to it if we didn't. You're grinding for points not much else.

TL;DR, It's pretty fun, but you definitely have to be in a tactical mood, going slower and more methodical.

Playing solo is fun from what I remember, I haven't played it in a while but I've seen that they've updated the game since; you have a squad of NPCs you can give commands to.

If you're playing with friends, you should go even slower  using communication is vital.
The game itself feels "heavy", moving/looking around, raising and lowering your weapon, these are some things found in other tactical first-person shooters.

It seems most gamers don't usually lean into tactical / mil-sim shooters (with Escape from Tarkov being a surprising "recent" exception, even if still niche); so I would guess most of us would not really care for, or even like 'Ready or Not'.

I personally love tactical shooters, like the original Rainbow Six games, but I've always known that they are not popular, or what the majority of gamers usually prefer, due to their increased difficulty and perhaps lack of maneuverability.

Ghost Recon's most popular entries stepped away from their more tactical approach (compare the first game and PC expansions, the PC versions of Advanced Warfighter, to games like Ghost Recon 2, AW console versions, Future Soldier or Wildlands)
