Ric Covers: Over The Top WWI

Welcome to a new initiative exclusive to the community called Ric Covers, where I’ll be taking a look at a different game each month and sharing it with all of you.
For our first feature, we’re heading to the battlefields of the early 20th century with Over The Top: WWI.
If you’re a fan of large-scale battlefield shooters, Over The Top: WWI delivers an intense multiplayer experience set during the First World War. The game throws players into massive 100 vs 100 battles, placing you directly into the chaos of trench warfare where teamwork, communication, and strategy are just as important as your aim. Players can choose from different combat roles while using authentic WWI weapons, vehicles, artillery, and even aircraft as both teams fight for control of the battlefield.
One of the standout elements of the game is its fully destructible environment. Trenches can collapse, artillery can tear apart the landscape, and the battlefield evolves as the fight unfolds. What may start as a fortified position can quickly become a cratered wasteland, forcing players to constantly adapt and rethink their strategy.
With its focus on massive player counts and combined-arms combat, Over The Top: WWI captures the chaotic scale and brutal intensity of World War I in a way that few multiplayer shooters attempt.
