I welcome you all to play a game called Hidden Source. Many of us on the CS:S side have started playing and enjoy it a lot. The Idea of the game is that there is a experiment named 617, who has enhanced speed, mobility and incredible strength - he can pounce like a tiger, cling to any surface and is known to pin victims up for feeding. Worst of all, the experiments have rendered him nearly invisible to the human eye. This is why he is simply known as ... The Hidden. The other team is know as the Infinitum Research Intercept Squad or (I.R.I.S) who have an arsenal of weaponry to choose from such as a FN2000 rifle, Remington shotgun, P90, and FN 303 rifle. Their goal is to hunt Subject 617 down and kill him, but subject 617's enhanced abilities have rendered him as the hunter and the IRIS the hunted. This is a mod for Half Life 2 and is also free. If you would like to try this game the link to the site is http://www.hidden-source.com/index.php. There is a tutorial in game which will teach you how to play as the hidden, and as the IRIS. I suggest only doing it for the hidden since if you've ever played a FPS you'll know how to play IRIS and game play as the hidden can be difficult at times, (took me a few days to figure out all the tricks. If you have any quesitons on how to play I'll be more than happy to help out on this thread or on steam (Splinter519).

I think you need HL2.
 
as long as you have a copy of a source game (which everyone in this clan should) it should work
 
THIS MOD IS EPIC..... Lt. Wolf showed me this a while ago and we played it. Now I am back in it and I've played all day until 5 am this week.

I predict engies, snipers, and maybe spies will enjoy this game.

You have to enjoy standing around for a long time, then doing one of three things-->

dying, then waiting a long time for round to end

living, doing nothing, waiting a long time for round to end

killing an invisible guy.

I hear its fun to play as "Hidden", but I wouldn't know because I played for 2 hours, got 0 kills, died only 3 times, and played as "Hidden" exactly 0 times.

2 hours of my life I will never get back.

I should qualify all of that by saying my favorite thing in TF2 is scout/bat-only. I'm that kind of gamer. Never dug RPGs, RTS, SIM, just FPS and lots of ADD-gratifying action.
 
i am a spy and engineer but im almost always scout. its 10 times more fun as hidden but still if ur good its easy as iris.
 
To add insult to injury, this game also jacked up my mic settings somehow. It took me months to get my mic working. grr
 
I havnt had any problems with it, and to go along with your comment about the 3 things that can happen, it is true that if you die you'll have to wait for the round to end, but its really not that bad. Remember it requires teamwork, this game is like zombie mod with only 1 overpowered zombie that can feed off your body. You have to stick together and communicate to stay alive and track down the hidden. I for one love the hidden, because you get to be really creative with how you kill things and how to freak other players out. (It can get pretty intense and freaky for the IRIS)
 
yeah its a very very stealthy game, some players are experts at being the Hidden. nonetheless, its creepy, fun, and nervewrecking!
 
We should organize clan games on Hidden: Source. It takes time to find out what to do, but once you figure everything out, its awesome. So fun when you know what you're doing. Oh, and never go by yourself. Never. And never stay close together. Ultra Mega Never.
 
I remember playing this a long time ago. I loved it, it's a very interesting game. I should go install it again.
