I'm having problems. Well not me, my mom is and she's very concerned. (I don't think it's much of a problem because we already have Norton Anti-Virus)

Well I get this error and this is what it says:

Could not locate valid definitions file. Please go to the Program Options page and click "Update Definitions" to download a definitions file.

Now I opened up spysweeper thinking I'll just go to options there. Well I did, and clicked update. Then after the update the error came up again. Also it won't let me do a virus scan, or sweep.

I went to the Program Files section, and couldn't find anything on updates. We had it installed at the store so I'm not sure if they customized it or anything.

Here's the main website for it if anyone needs it:

http://www.webroot.com/En_US/index.html

There's a lot of information on that, and our Webroot Spysweeper version is 5.7.7 which is the most current version. I made sure we had all the updates. The only thing that I'm wondering about is, they have new firewall software, could we possibly need to buy that for spysweeper to work? I highly doubt it otherwise spysweeper would have lots of unhappy customers, including me because I can't get back on playing TF2 untilt his problem is resolved.

So please add any help you can think of, I'll try anything because I want to play TF2!

Thanks in advance!

P.S. - While I'm waiting for replies I'lll just be fiddling with it to see if I can do anything. I'll post if I figure it out. I highly doubt I'll figure it out though.

Alright I'll give it a try, and see if it works.

EDIT: I tryed it and they are having trouble processing my request. I can remember now that they asked me if they wanted to register the version, but we had it installed in the store, and they never gave us a box so I don't know how we could get it registered anymore.

You can try re-installing the program, but before uninstalling search for your Product key, if you don't have the box or the product key then restart the pc and pay attention to when Spysweeper starts and (I Think) it should state the product key somewhere in the loading process.
