Suggestions: Process & Procedure
The purpose of this forum is to compile and track a list of community suggestions to the various EdgeGamers services.

1. How do I submit a suggestion?

1. Navigate to the thread creator.
2. Select a appropriate thread prefix and title.
3. Use the text box to give us as much information as you see fit.
4. Please create one thread per suggestion. It will help discussions flow better.

2. How will suggestions be processed?

1. Threads are left open for community input and discussion on the matter.
2. The appropriate leadership members will watch over suggestions pertaining to their field.
3. Once approved/denied, leadership will notify the necessary parties involved and the thread will be closed.

3. How long do suggestions take to process?
There is no set time in which a single suggestion may be processed, implemented, or denied by leadership. Based on community feedback, active projects, and leadership perception some suggestions may be left open for extended discussion while others may be closed within a day of the initial post. If you feel that a suggestion may have been forgotten, feel free to restart the discussion with a constructive response to the thread.

4. What are the responsibilities of the thread creator?
Before positing a suggestion, it is recommended that you check the Suggestions Forum and the Completed Sub-Forum to make sure your idea is new and original; duplicates will be subject to either closure without discussion or an in-line thread merge with the original suggestion. This does not mean that all suggestions are off the table as, for example, something suggested one year ago and denied may find traction in a new post with better reasoning today.

If your suggestion is nothing but a title with something akin to "discuss" as the thread content, then your suggestion will be closed by a leadership member and moved off to completed.

5. What are the responsibilities of thread respondents?
Maintain a civil discussion and post constructive feedback to suggestions. Going around, making posts such as "this is bad" or "-1" doesn't really provide leadership nor the other thread respondents meaningful material for discussion. On the same note, posts that go out of their way to insult others or provoke arguments may be deleted at leadership's discretion.

If you disagree with a suggestion, do not dislike-bomb it with your friends. This will only result in the loss of reaction privileges at the discretion of forum admins.

6. How do I make a good suggestion?
Just follow the examples below and make sure your points are easily understood by others.

I believe we should consider adding custom models as a dedicated supporter feature to the [SERVER]. I regularly hang out on [SERVER] and have come to notice that a lot of people seem to be bored of the default models that we've been using on there. As a resolution, I believe this suggestion could have two positive outcomes:

1. Players will be satisfied to less characters walking around with the default models and,
2. We will be actively promoting more dedicated supporter features, something we really could use to benefit eGO!
