After many, many years on a variety of leadership teams,
Adam
has taken off his hat and retired.
I felt the need to make this post as I’ve known Adam for a very long time now. Even in the past few years when we haven’t gamed together as much he’s still a great friend to send memes to, reminisce the past, and update each other on life.
In 2010 as a fresh eG loaded with the bad attitude of a teenage me, I was gifted the Orange Box by USCG Hammer. So I dove into our 2fort server head first for hours on end. I drifted into the Ventrilo rooms and encountered one of the TF2 advisors at the time - MisterAdam, as he was known at the time. He was the same ass he is these days.
Adam has remained a steady face and confidant of many leadership members over the years. He supported me greatly in my first leadership run as a TF2 advisor, as he had once been. We’ve played a lot of games over the years, spent many late nights dealing with problems in the community, and just both enjoying trying to have a great time while online
It’s always unfortunate to see someone so long serving to the community step aside, but the time does come when it happens. Adam has served the community well over the course of a majority of eGO’s existence and I thank him for helping shape many divisions into their best times, and keeping things positive when times were tough.
