We are pleased to recognize and congratulate @xJDx on receiving the Distinguished Service Commendation!
Since joining EdgeGamers back in early 2023, JD has made an incredible impact on this community. What began as a dedicated member of our FiveM server quickly turned into something much greater. Through hard work and commitment to EdgeGamers, JD worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming a Senior Manager and playing a key role in our FiveM server's leadership and development.
Even after the (first) closure of GTA, his commitment to the community never wavered. He continued contributing behind the scenes and took on many responsibilities while we built what eventually launched as ClearRP 2.0. His willingness to take on different roles, take on new challenges, and continue to give back to the community speaks volumes about his character.
Today, JD is a member of our Community Management team, and he continues to bring the same dedication, experience, and perspective that he's brought all of these years. I've seen firsthand how much he cares about this community, it's members, and our future. Whether it's lending a hand behind the scenes, or leading the community from the helm, JD has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a member of this community.
The Distinguished Services Award recognizes individuals whose contributions have made a lasting difference to EdgeGamers. I can think of few people more deserving for that recognition than JD.
Congratulations, my friend, on something well overdue. Thank you for everything you've done, what you continue to do, and for being such an important part of this team. We're fortunate to have you.
And, of course, it's only fitting that EdgeGamers' first-ever British Community Manager receives such a distinguished honor.
