i was wondering cause new waepons are huge when they come out everyone want them, but what happens when theyve done every class whats next?
MORE weapons?,clothes?
what do u think:confused:

Warning! New Challenger!

Didn't they say they wanted to make a new class after all of that? I don't remember...

I think it would be neat for them to release a set of female models/voices xD I'm sure people have made a few but I mean an OFFICIAL set

They was rumor they were going to make more classes, but they would have basically been spinoffs of the classes we have. Instead of a medic with a needle gun, medigun and bonesaw, we would of had a medic with a blutsauger, kritzkrieg, and ubersaw. The weapons wouldn't have been changeable. It's a good thing it went down how it is now.

I think they should add the civilian class.

I'm serious! >:l

See! There's my srsface.

yea, civilian! i remember how i killed with him 5 heavies in row in the old TFC! i just loved his umbrella.

i doubt Tf3 is on the way just yet.

wouldn't be surprised if after all this they go with changing the character models to include female models/voices. On top of that i'd presume they'd make another round of achievements/weapons available through specific achievements.

I dunno, I think it would be tough to find another type of class to fit in without taking any away from the existing classes, but it's Valve so maybe they'll find a way.

oo i have actualy an idea only thing the game dosent have is an assalt rifle tactical style
we have heavy things so im thinking sumone with stats n speed of say a sniper so not scout speed but resonable health n maybe have an mp5 thts the only gap i can think so kindof gap between heavy and sniper in a way acurate, fast fire, but then pnly about 30 bullets in a clip

I say an assault class should be next, with some sort of assault rifle, a k-bar for a melee weapon and a colt .45 for the back up weapon

I hope they don't do that. That kind of class sounds too much like a CS style character, which is what they didn't want to do...I believe. CS is kinda the opposite of TF2, seeing as it is very individual...everyone is good on their own and you don't need support.

I think weapons may be the end, only because:

  • Valve scrapped the "General" class from beta. And further class introductions have been unconfirmed, just speculation. It would most likely require another Meet the Class, new weapons, and then the voices, models, etc. And most of the class roles have been filled out. Not much is left but maybe a (rather bland?) assault class with some old-skool AR with average health. Nothing an unlock can't change imo.
  • Clothes probably not. Unless it's very minor changes, Valve wants to keep it so classes are easily identifiable. And if it IS simple, skins solve that problem (somewhat).
  • Female incarnations would require new voices, taunts, models, etc. and Valve stated it would require too much memory and work. Although they stated they felt they should've made some classes male and some female from the start.

All I can see is maybe other unlocks... or just class balances or even just bug fixes and map additions from time to time. That isn't to say other stuff wouldn't be fun though.

I've been sort of thinking that this round of weapons won't necessarily be all that we'll see. If you look at the character screen, there are indications that there might be more weapons in the future. For example, the fact that it lists an inventory count or that there's extra space on the weapon choice screen.

That's not to say they'll immediately add new weapons. It could just be that they designed the screens like that as a "just in case".
