New Design + Functionality = eGO awesomeness

My suggestion:

What about some type of general 'Welcome to eGO - here's the basics' email or PM sent to ALL new recruits, and maybe all members in general once or twice a year?

People are constantly asking basic questions like: How do we find out when the next scrim is? How do we find the password for the scrim? How do we get into vent? How do we setup Vent?

I know all of this information is well-laid out in our site, but some people are not as good as others at searching for the info they need...

Anyway, I was thinking if we created an Adobe help sheet, it could be made available for download from the site as well as being mandatory reading material for all new recruits? Just some kind of initial customer service announcement covering all the basics.

The thing I dislike about it is how the forum button is only on the side in small print. I liked it better when the forum button was the first thing you saw at the top of the page. Bottom line is, I don't love it, I don't hate it.

I'll say like Selmuir I don't really like that purple boxes with eG and eGO I'm sorry but I just better like it on the DODS Website (.us)

Purple? You must be running some VERY strange color settings on your computer.

I think this layout is much better. The tabs at the top are a welcome addition.

However 2 things..

1: What happened to the link to hlstats? (maybe I am not looking hard enough)

2: Seems to be running very slowly.. Sometimes 20 seconds between pages. That said it could be that my office internet connection is rubbish...

Another positive is that I am already used to it... feels like home, whereas the last layout just didn't feel right for me
