I noticed some lag spikes, as did others playing at the same time (~10:00 PM Mountain). Hopefully it won't continue to be an issue.

Edit: I'm not completely familiar with how overtime works, but I was on blue team, we had point A almost completely captured, the announcer said "Overtime!" then we either finished capping or a red stepped on the point, and it announced that we had lost. Judging from all the shouts of "WHAAAAAAAT!?!" I'm guessing I wasn't the only one surprised.

Is this a bug? I thought overtime didn't end unless the point was completely reset.

It's because gravelpit is running on weaker server, but around September that should clear up.

Anyways, welcome back GRAVEL PIT
 
I havn't noticed any lag spikes in Gravel Pit but I've noticed a lot in Well, like every 5 minutes. weird...
 
We havent had gravelpit since forever!!!! w00t!! ITS BACK!!
 
Gravel pit really is one of the best valve maps. Hooray for it coming back. :D

Gravelpit is one of my favourite maps, that first introduced me to eGo.
Sorry Turbine, but you've been replaced ;)
 
I RARELY get lag spikes on eGO servers. The only one that troubles me is in Blackmesa. Whenever i spawn i get HUGE spikes. But then it calms down and all is good!
 
I don't even get lag spikes on Toyfort though.

Its just one massive trainwreck of lag. :(
 
im really glad gravelpit is back too, definitely one of my favorite maps. is one of the few maps where all classes can do some serious damage, especially scout :)
 
Yeah, Gravelpit is much more scout-viable than the other more linear capture maps.

It's gonna take a little time to get used to swapping offense and defense so often though after spending so much time on Goldrush/Dustbowl.

And already 5 less people to play on Gravel. I love that map, but it attracts the worst players...
 
woot woot hadnt played this map in a while until we got this server up. gave it another try and i am lovin it :)
