Mouse Lag in Gears of War

I recently re-installed gears of war and although it runs fine my mouse lags whenever I move it. I have run it fine the only modifications I have made to my laptop is to install a second hard-drive and a logitech mouse. Any suggestions any other specs you need?

The mouse lags? Or it lags when you move the mouse? Sounds like your laptop can't handle the stress.

When I move the mouse hte character follows after a considerable delay. Gears ran fine on my laptop in the past. and it runs all of my other games perfectly.

check to see what the in game setting is for the mouse. Also you can try adjusting the mouse settings in the control panel of windows to see if it improves.

What are you polling rates set at? I know that some games are kind of glitchy when you use higher polling rates on your mouse. Other than that, you might just have gotten really unlucky and got a corrupt file on installation, so mabey try re-installing if setting changes don't work.

Hmm, well i know for me that it happens when i turn vsync ON, Shut it off, see if it helps.

Thanks guys I will try this as soon as my mouse receiver gets in. I was walking into my room and hit the receiver on the door jam and it snapped right out of the USB port. I ordered a new one (and an extra lol) and its been 12 days and still no Receiver!
