There was a time when rock and roll was rising in popularity and many people felt it wasn't music. Now look at what it has done today in terms of cultural change. To declare a certain genre not music, in my opinion, is simply ignorant. I can't completely respect the fact that you don't like it, but to degrade any genre like that is silly.
