Description

Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code is 12.

Maybe a tad more info...like the mobo and the card you tried to use in that slot?

But generally I would reload the chip set drivers.

Which PCIe slot are you using? On my evga 780i board, if you are only using 1 graphics card, it must be installed in the top slot (closest to the cpu). Just a random thought, not sure if it would even cause that error.

The evga Web site community forums are a great troubleshooting resource also. Lots of stuff on there that would apply to all manufacturers mboards and graphics cards.

When did the problem occur? Were you updating to that graphics card, or did it just pop up out of the blue?

Can you post screen shots of your BIOS settings?
