Spy Tutorial/Highlight Reel

Parts of it end up playing a bit more like a highlight reel than a tutorial, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like some of the leaping backstabs he pulls off.

Fair warning: Sound is in game sfx and voice chat, and since it's from non-eGO servers there's occasional swearing.

Yeah I've seen them. He's in the same clan as a friend of mine. He's a good Spy.

I've used quite a few of these techniques myself, although I don't implement them as smoothly as he does.

Oh, and the one thing that everyone ALWAYS neglect to mention is to disguise as an allied team member. Really, theres no point in disguising as a red pyro if you're in the blue base, as anyone seeing you will KNOW you're a spy.

Might as well just stay as a spy, or even better, disguise as a friendly team color.

Imagine, for example, on 2Fort. Walking out on the battlements, if you're disguised as the enemy, then you have to be cloaked to jump off the battlements, as the other team will notice that one of their allies jumped out of the enemy's base, which is highly suspicious.

However, if you disguise as a friendly, there will be no suspicion. Its common enough. Sure, you might draw some extra fire, but jump into the water, and cloak/disguise in the sewers, saving you quite alot of cloak, and giving you the element of surprise. Its no use being a spy if all the pyros are actively looking for you.

Even in the video, some of the backstabs he had were of spies leaving spawn disguised as his team color. Even if he didn't target them, he could have easily alerted his team of their presence, and they would have been aware of the spy.

Just remember to change back into a enemy color once you've infiltrated their base
