Antispware question

I just wanted to know if having Windows Defender and NOD32 (AV and anti spyware) is sufficient to keeping me safe from spyware. I know none of them are perfect but will these two keep me away from most of the spyware or should I get another program? I know there is ad aware, spyware doctor and Spy Bot S&D, should I get any of these programs to run.. once a week or month?

I only have NOD32... I don't use any other spyware program or adware program... and I don't get any spyware or adware at all... I even disabled Windows Defender

lol yeah I had disabled Windows Defender because I heard it slows ur PC down, I just enabled it today and if I notice any slowdowns ill be disabling it.

edit: I just tested it now and windows defender takes 2% more physical memory so I changed it to manual in services and if I need it ill put it on auto.
