I found my self in an interesting situation last night. I was on the Donner Server and there was a kid that started dropping F-Bombs like crazy after a round loss. I asked him to stop, but he refused and continued the bombing raid. There were no admins on at that time, so I came here and made a shout.

What else could I have done? I wish to be efficient in keeping the severs clean. I don't mean to sound like a brown noser or a tattle-tale, I am just wanting to follow the rules.

You had the right idea in asking the rude person to clean up there language. You can find an admin by going into vent and looking for an eGO you recognize by name, or one of the leaders whose names have a leadership tag by their name. You can also go onto another server and ask one of the eGO's to help you. If you can not find an eGO, then ask one of the eG's for help. It is nice of you to care about the clean gaming that we promote, and thanks for your effort.
 
Couldn't we create a command like !needAdmin that can be done in text chat? It could sms or email or anything to get someones attention. I'd be willing to help code/script it in.

This is good to know. I will remember the Vent(which I totally forgot about) in the future should this ever happen again.
 
Next time your in game with an eG or eGO put them on your friends list, I accept new friends al the time that way while your in game you can hit your friends list and text them if your having trouble. It's better if it's an eGO that way they can handle any situtation.
 
type status in console grab thier steam id and put in a request a ban well handle them from there. Thanks

It's not hard but obtrusive, I have to shut down DOD since switching out of it corrupts some textures and makes it annoying to play. Just trying to help, it doesn't seem like it'd be all that hard to do.
 
Another great way to get an admin when you need one is to have eGO's and eG's on your steam friends. whenever you go ingame, if there are eGO's or eG's present send them a friend request through steam friends, I know for a fact that most of them would be more than happy to accept your request
 
Yes please add me to your freinds list and contact me if needed. As they said, vent or the shout box or even simply look at the other servers players list and go in and have a ego help you. Its a shame poeple just can't act right in the first place, but hey.
