Need help with vid card purchace

wow i just realized im going through a lot of hassle just to play tf2, hopefully the card i choose will be good for other games as well. not ubisoft tho they lost my respect when they make ridiculous games that ask for too much, valve and blizzard is where its at for now
once a gamer always a gamer.. i figured if i had been the gamer my brother was id already have more than enough to play tf2, but my interestes floated to other more dangerous exciting things in life, u see i can.. buy a video card and suite up my computer and it will be fine for another 1/2 year until the new games come out that ask for something more my card cant offer, same with everyone here, video cards are as fast as computers and faster, and the only reason they make faster computers is to keep up with the eccelerating speed of video games. buy a 500 dollar card and it will last u 1 1/2 years tops until u see a game come out that u can barely play. so what do you do? upgrade again? is this where all the money must go? or is there a limit? a limit in which u sorta.. you know.. ''stop'' playing video games, right? because most of you will be married with children when diablo 3 comes out, but i suppose once a true gamer always a gamer til death, and thats the life people choose, excuse me i mean fate

Well it's something of a decision you have to make for yourself. Do you want to invest your hard earned dollars in this? If the answer is no, then you shouldn't do it, if the answer is, "I can't" then again you shouldn't do it, but if you do want to be able to play these games, then you pretty much have to lay out some money. My computer is two years old, and it runs Crysis reasonably well...If you make good decisions about what to buy you can make these things last, but you still have to outlay money to get the stuff, even the first time.
