i hate dod more and more every day

Yea i hate when i shoot people from 2ft with a rifle right through his head and it registers that i hit him in the right leg thats the only thing i ever have a problem with.

I promised myself never to spend any more money on shiney coasters.
 
i hate the thompson to, to innacurate, if you are indoors, the thing kicks some major booty, but if you see a guy far away, you can empty you whole clip on him, and he can just kill you with one simple shot from a rifle...dont u hate it when that happens?
 
dude the thompson has halfa clip of rubber bullets!!!

the other half misses! i hate that gun!
 
I swear the power on it has improved, Some guy was running round on donner with a thompson yesterday and he was owning the server up big time. I could barely get a touch on him, had no chance close up with the axis support. The thompson was never that powerful when I used to use it, though I did used to be able to get the odd headshot from apartments to church on AVA.

mmmm are you forgetting it is a 45 cal? It makes a very big hole and has a lot of knockdown close range. I do agree that they have it set up to do to many head shots but the damage it does up close is about right.
 
The only thing that annoys me about the thompson is the random headshots from dudes spamming at me from stupid distances. I mean, the dude shouldnt even be looking at me with that gun at that range, but no, he's spamming at me from thousands of yards off, hoping for a randy. Y'know, just capped axis 2nd on ava, step out of the sandbags, and start shooting at a sniper under the arch. Its just brainless, and too often its rewarded.
 
that thompson is weird sometimes
Im pretty sure it is the gun that has the most kills by anyone on donner
 
I've gotten a good number of kills with a Thompsona and some of them pretty amazing shots. Iit probably does need a bit of nerfing.
 
Am I the only person here who hasn't had this problem? Most of the players I meet up let's say in... Avalanche with the Thompson haven't given me a problem with headshots. Pre-firing a bit helps with that though.

I have to say that the Bar gives me more problems next to grenades.
 
Well many ppl have complained about this but its a part of the game, i just think of it as a challenge...It makes the game harder if i wanted to be good and have an easy time i would go play CS:S and ill say that to u too if u want to play an easy game try CSS.
 
Thompson isn't that good... it has less damage per shot and from medium distance out it's shot dispersal pattern sucks donkey.... um... ears. I generally suck at it. I find the BAR much more effective at any distance. Not just that... if you hate the Thompson, just pick up the MP40. The things are clones except for sound and model.

All it is is situational, and someone adapting to the game play.
 
i personally hate allies(in the game).but i definitly am getting irratated by the thompson and DoD personally. i dont like how i keep dieing when im shooting directly at the person and he wont die from a couple of shots. when they update it i'll be talking.
 
I think its cool that a hit with a shovel will do more damage then the Thompson. If i had a choice i think i would take a hit from a shovel.
