Switch Video Cards

Hey i was wondering if i could switch my laptop video card, a Video Card ATI Radeon X1200, with my desktop video card, a ATI Radeon x300/x550/x1050 series. Would it have any negitive effects on any of my computers? Heres my computer info:

Yeah, see if you can, although I doubt it. My old card was a Raedon X600, and its pretty big. I'm not sure if it can fit into a laptop in the first place.

Quite correct. To make things smaller in a laptop they redesign the ports to fit specialized graphics cards and such.
