Weird Text Bug?

Well, I was playing the game earlier, and I kept getting this weird, small, white box showing up in the lower right hand corner of my screen, near the ammo, containing what appeared to be Japanese characters (text). I went to type something about it, to ask if maybe my XP world language pack was conflicting with DoD:S, and then this happened.

That lower case L stayed in the chat every time I opened it, and I could not say anything in chat either. Also, I got weird characters in the chat box when I typed.

Is this just me? Am I going insane? Please help

hmmm, sometimes that happens to me, not the wierd box, but random characters.

restarting steam seems to help?

but i don't know the cause, nor do i know a solution

why is your team mate laying on the ground inside the exit spawn?

The flag icons in the upper left are different than the default icons. Are you using some sort of custom interface or 3rd part icons? If so, that may be your problem.

If you have a custom GUI or HUD. Then I think that there is a glitch or problem with it. It has never happened to me before. I also have the default DOD:S skins
