Gun skins

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of looking at the AUG. It looks like someone glued two pipes together and tapped a clip onto it, then welded a misshapen meteorite to the back as a stock.

So I was looking into skins on FPS banana. But someone told me that some of the skins get caught on VAC and I don't want to get VAC banned over a stupid skin. So any confirmations on this and what to look out for?

Nope, you can't get banned for custom skins

Yea skins are fine to use on our servers (although they don't allow skins or some servers)

Hi I was wondering if one of you guys can tell me how to download the skins and how to make them show on my cpu so that I can play with them ty

some of them come with directions

u put the files in the correct folder (they should tell u what folder to put in with the skin)

My computer / Local Disk / Program Files / Steam / steamapps / (your username) / counter strike source / cstrike / materials

Yeah I got a skin for the AUG and Krieg cause, well the AUG is yucky looking, and the Krieg deserves better. I'm thinking about maybe skinning a few others so I have something nice to look at when I'm not using the AUG or Krieg.

My AUG is a G36 or whatever and it has custom sounds. I haven't tried out my new Krieg yet.

Me needs custom sounds for my skins

almost all of the guns in my skinpack have custom sounds and some custom animations.

there is a read me within my skin pack to learn how to extract to your folders
