Well seeing as in the interview where they announced it, they said they hadn't even told EA they were doing it yet, I'd assume that didn't happen

I am waiting for WAR to finally come out. I do not even know the side or class I will be, but I will be a caster class.
The WAR delays caused me to lose some interests in the game. I was really excited about a year ago when it was original schedule to release. After two delays, I am like I will play when it is out. Mean time, I will play other games. I think Mythic can not delay any longer in order to profit from the hype they build over 2+ years. If they delay another year, I think they will lose some potential customers.

Well, many people did quit the game early because they wanted all the bugs to be fixed the week it came out, and everyone compares it to Wow, which is redicilous. I am not saying you, Mook, did it because of this(which I dont know :S) but I think people should give it some time. Most likely, many ppl are going to leave WAR after the first weeks and start comparing it to WoW and how much better WoW is etc.
I didn't quit because of the bugs, I honestly didn't notice many bugs. And no, I didn't compare it to WoW, I'm not one of those people that compare every MMO to WoW. I quit because I found it to be extremely boring and the real time combat system was very repetitive.
Also, if you play AoC, I have a unused 60 day game card lying around that I never put to use if you want it. Of course, I would want something in return though

I was a WoW addict for 3 years and well, I'm not a hater but it was getting old. PvP was a joke but I've nothing against it because I'm not a big PvPer. PvE on the other hand was great, the only bad thing was raid required too many people (but that's what a raid is).
Moved onto AoC for the free month and even purchased the collector's edition of it. Wasn't disappointed except was misssing alot of features that were supposed to be there (which is being implemented now), but am definitely staying away from AoC.
I hate to admit it but I loved WoW and am definitely looking for WoW 2.0 and WAR seems like it'll be a great candidate for it with PvP system that can be fun.
Note that Blizzard is also working on a brand new line of MMO as well, it was claimed that it would NOT be WoW 2 but who knows? The company hasn't spewed out any original product for awhile rather sequels which I don't mind.
MMO really isn't for everyone, hell, I used to make fun of and pick on kids who played them until I got deeply into it.
All in all, very high hopes for this game and hope to see many of you on as well. I will be playing all the Witch Elf classes cause they are oh so sexy.
