Mic Requirements?

Hey guys, i dont usually use a mic but i would like to and i need to know what i need for my mic to work.
If u guys could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I like headsets.. the mic is always in the same position from your mouth...
you don't have to lean into it... The sound is always the same..
Lots of good models to chose from.. I run a Plantronics headset...

I would definetly suggest not to cheap out on a mic, pay the extra 5 bucks and get a great one. With mine I just pluged it in and started to talk, in game go into youd options>Voice for settings/volume.

I just bought a cheap headset for like a tenner, it works fine.
