Team Fortress 2 Not loading

I downloaded the update an hour ago, and in the middle of updating, my computer encounted an error (Nothing to do with the update), and turned off.

Once I booted the computer up again, I tried to play Team Fortress 2 again, and its been on the "Preparing to Launch Team Fortress 2" screen for over 20 minutes... I've restarted my computer 2 times, and restarted steam more than that, yet each one is pretty much stuck on that screen.

Whats wrong/how do I fix it?


Also, when I try to validate the files, its stuck at about 40%

You can try reinstalling, I'm pretty sure u know how. Right click TF2 -> delete local content

Yeah, about that...
Everytime I try doing that, it crashes steam.

Hmm, Try Re-installing and try again.

I just ended up reinstalling steam entirely..

Ugh, I did DoD:S and TF2 at the same time... 2 bytes a second.
Not Kilobytes.
Not Megabytes.
Bytes.

i had this problem not too long ago, i just uninstalled all my steam games and reinstalled them all since TF2 didnt start
