i used startupmanager program to delete userinit.exe because when i looked it up on the internet it said it was spyware... so now im looking here for help
http://st-m.wiki.sourceforge.net/FAQ
but what does it mean consequences? what does it mean it will replace all software keys? what are those? i want to make sure i know what they are and if i have them before i do anything..

That's not very vice, Userinit.exe and user.ini tells windows that there is 1(+/-x) accounts, their name(s), password(s) and a few more things, without that one it's no accounts registred, so no "normal" way into the PC. Also NEVER delete the winlogon.ini. It shows up everytime you start windows, in the task manager and in the registry, so it should be in startup manager too.

tho the thing you prbly found on the internet about it is that it replaces it with one that runs different types of spyware, malware or trojans...

I checked the FAQ and it looks OK, it only replaces some files and if it works it's good, otherwise it's just too reinstall windows...

And promise one thing, please never delete a file, in windows or in the registry if you're not 110% sure it's not supposed to be in there.
I use those tools to remove stuff like MSN, xfire, skype, steam and so on 'cus it's 10times faster than opening every program and go through options...

hope o replied before you made something:D

Best wishes, your RabbiT
