Last problem that I have with my comcast

Well,

I have found out that my ping really isn't 1000/2000, but for some reason the server menu on every FPS game displays pings in the thousands. But when I connect to a server, it tells me that I have 40-50 ping (not in the thousands) Is there any fix for this, has this happened to anyone else? This has only happened since I switched to comcast. It's not only in 1 game, so far I have seen this in TF2, COD4, and CSS.

same for me buddy, ive been having this issue on and off for a few months and i use verizon. i think its a ISP issue not a comp one.
